On the 15th of October, Joe Cordiani had a Phil in PV style adventure that actually turned out very well, despite a slow start.  As we always mention, putting groups together is difficult and the ones that are successful can be counted on one hand.  Joe was alone and wanted to team up with another angler to share the cost of a boat.  Unfortunately the other angler that Phil found made an unwise purchase and was enjoying the culture in our local jail instead of heading out to La Corbeteña and Joe was once again on his own. 

But Joe wanted to fish so he and Phil toured Los Peines at 6:30 am and found the SAVANNAH, a super little boat that was operated by the nephew of Cacho, captain of the DISCOVERY and also related to Captain Hector of the STRIKE ONE.  These two are Vallarta's best in Phil's opinion, and a nephew had to have some of the family talent, so they jumped aboard.  Joe's 'Catch of the Day' was a huge Sailfish that is in that Mysterious Mounting Place.  Be patient Joe, it may take awhile but will be worth it.
